The Dura Society

By purchasing and/or renewing your membership, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“Member”, “you”) and The Dura Society (“we”, “us”, “our”), a private members' society committed to empowering and connecting a new generation of women navigating wealth, purpose, and legacy.

1. Membership Eligibility

  • Membership is open to individuals by application, invitation, or recommendation, subject to approval by The Dura Society.

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.

  • Membership is intended for women, and allies, committed to financial growth, personal development, wellness, and with a genuine interest in private client matters and the Society’s broader mission of impact and connection.

  • The Dura Society reserves the right to approve or deny membership at its discretion.

2. Membership Categories

We currently offer the following membership types which provide annual access for one named member:

  • Explorer Membership – Wealth holders or builders who can demonstrate alignment with our values and mission.

  • Expert Membership – Private client advisors working with U/HNW clients who can demonstrate a strong track record and personal ethos aligned with our values and mission.

Each membership category offers distinct benefits which are detailed on our website or via direct communication. We reserve the right to update benefits at any time with notice.

  • Panels and masterclasses with industry leaders and entrepreneurs.

  • Business mentorship and coaching opportunities for personal and professional advancement.

Wellness & Personal Development

  • Access to wellness retreats, meditation sessions, and self-care workshops.

  • Guided sessions on mindfulness, stress management, and work-life balance.

  • Health and longevity events tailored for women’s well-being.

  • Curated cultural events, fair access, private tours, and gallery shows.

Exclusive Learning Resources

  • Members-only webinars and educational guides.

  • Financial planning tools, templates, and worksheets (available on request).

  • Special access to partner services (available on request).

Promotional Opportunities (for Expert Members)

  • Opportunities to showcase at selected events and Essential Series webinars.

  • Featured spotlights in our quarterly newsletter, website, or social media.

  • Sponsorship opportunities at workshops and events.

  • Inclusion in The Little Blue Book directory (if opted in).

Note: Certain benefits may be subject to capacity, separate ticketing, or eligibility criteria.

4. Code of Conduct

As a Member of The Dura Society, you agree to:

  • Engage respectfully, thoughtfully, and with discretion.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding discussions held under Chatham House Rule unless otherwise specified.

  • Refrain from soliciting or using the platform for overt commercial gain unless pre-approved by us.

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour (which will result in immediate termination of membership).

  • Uphold the Society’s spirit of collaboration, trust, and inclusivity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership for breaches of conduct.

5. Events & Participation

5.1 Member Engagement

  • Members are encouraged to actively participate in events, discussions, and activities to maximise networking and personal growth opportunities.

  • Attendance is not mandatory, but consistent participation fosters stronger connections and community support.

5.2 Event Registration & Fees

  • Some events may require pre-registration due to limited capacity.

  • Certain events may carry additional costs beyond membership fees, which will be communicated clearly in advance.

  • Refund policies for paid events will be specified on a case-by-case basis.

5.3 Guest Policy

  • Members may invite guests to select events, subject to approval and event guidelines.

  • Guest fees (if applicable) must be paid in advance.

  • Members are responsible for ensuring their guests adhere to The Dura Society’s Code of Conduct.

5.4 Member Contributions & Speaking Opportunities

  • Members with expertise may apply to lead a workshop, speak at an event, or host a session.

  • Applications will be reviewed by The Dura Society’s committee.

  • All contributions must align with our mission and provide educational or inspirational value.

5.5 Event Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • The Dura Society reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify events due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Members will be notified of any changes whenever possible.

6. Non-Solicitation & Promotional Opportunities

  • Members may not directly or indirectly solicit, promote, or sell products or services to other members unless explicitly permitted by The Dura Society.

  • Sharing expertise in relevant discussions is encouraged, but excessive self-promotion, unsolicited pitching, or spamming is prohibited.

Exceptions:
The Society may provide designated opportunities for members to promote their businesses, such as approved sponsorships, member spotlights, or business showcases.

Application Process:

  • Members must apply via [email/website/portal].

  • Applications are reviewed based on:

    • Alignment with the Society’s mission.

    • Value to the community.

    • Relevance of industry.

    • Exclusivity considerations.

  • Approved members will receive promotion guidelines.

7. Membership Term, Renewal & Fees

  • Membership runs for 12 months from the date of acceptance or renewal.

  • Renewals are automatic.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.

8. Termination & Suspension

  • Membership may be suspended or terminated immediately if you breach these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or bring The Dura Society into disrepute.

  • In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

9. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • We respect your privacy. Member data will be stored securely and used only for Society-related communications.

  • We will not share your personal information with third parties without consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • The Dura Society accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury sustained at events, or as a result of reliance on advice, information, or materials provided through membership.

11. Amendments

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • Members will be notified of significant changes.
